Potluck Feast
Saturday Night there will be a potluck style feast
with the main course provided by the shire.
Liege Sausages upon a bed of red cabbage and apples in a vegetarian stock. Said sausages are made with premium quality lean pork carefully pressed and chopped, Pinot Noir wine, cinnoman and ground pepper.
European Blend salad, olive oil and vinegar dressing, salt and pepper.
Demi-loaves sliced of "Russian Bread" (A wheat bread made with unbleached flour, milk, eggs, sugar, salt, vegetable shortening and yeast.
While hot from the oven melted butter is brushed over the crust.) Dish of butter.
2 "Alexander's Cakes". This is butter based shortbread type cake without leavening, made of unbleached flour and sugar.
The top of one "Cake" is covered with Black Currant Preserves, then the second layer is placed over the first and is topped with a glaze consisting of fresh lemon juice and powdered sugar.
Please bring a dish to share that will feed a least 8 people.
